Favorite three songs:  “That’s All” recently recorded by Michael Buble, “Pie Jesu” any recording,  “Imagine” both the original John Lennon and the Glee remake

Best teacher in college (and what college that was):   Dr. Josephine Reiter, Framingham State College.   As a freshmen, I took your basic freshman music appreciation course.   I enjoyed her teaching style so much that I then  took “Baroque Music” and “Beethoven” , resulting in a minor in music.  She had every part of lesson planned to the last minute.  She was demanding but not dictatorlike.  She also loved the subject she taught and she encouraged her students to  learn more.

Favorite instrument(s) and why – The oboe.  I love the oboe sound.  It’s so wonderfully unique.

Favorite activity for a snow day from when you were little- Sledding all day long and not coming home until the street lights came on.

What do you want to do when you grow up?    Really, you promise – some day I’m going to grow up. Wow!  I really want to take a nice long leisurely trip across the U.S. and see unspoiled Florida, a Red Sox game in Yankee territory, anything at Carnegie Hall, the LA Philharmonic, see real prairie grass, visit cities like Seattle, Chicago, Nashville, Austin with someone who knows these cities really well.
